  A Lute at the Violin Shop
• 
  Bow, bows, bows! They come in different sizes, too. Very expensive bows have bleached hair from a horse's tail!!
• 
  Mr. Jackson has so many violins that he never has time to dust them!
• 
  There are many sizes of violins. Smallest are called 1/32, 1/16. 1/10, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full size called 4/4.
• 
  Most of these are full size.
• 
  Mr. Jackson is telling me about what all he does in his shop. Update - Mr. Jackson passed away in July 2016. He was a very gifted luthier and we miss him so much.
• 
  I always buy my violins from Mr. Jackson because, being a true luthier, he knows how to set up the violins so that they will work their best.
• 
  Our 2008 Spring Benefit Concerts brought in $454 for the Bay County Library Youth Dept. All money used to buy music related media and books. Left to Right: Rachel Marchisin, Treasurer of NFMTA, Me, President, Joyce Dannecker, Library Director.
